Jude's 2nd Birthday ....

Jude has "taken up" golf like his daddy! So we thought it would be fun to have a "golf" themed birthday party for him! He LOVED it! It was definitely a FUN party! He enjoyed the "mini golf" with his great-grandpa "PaPa"......

June 19, 2011~ Father's Day 2011

We tried to be a little crafty this year since Preston is a little older and we made "daddy" a shirt! Then we gave "daddy" lots of things that he likes...SWEETS! We gave him a cupcake decorated with little "tools" on it and M & M's! He also got a HUGE card that played music! We love you "DADDY" and thank you for EVERYTHING that you do for us!

Summer Fun!

Someone learned how to WALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep, we have a full-time walker on our hands now! And just a few days before turning 14 months! Preston "officially" starting walking on June 10th! And we have our hands full now! SO PROUD of my growing boy! I love you, Preston Reid!

We have been enjoying lots of water play at our house!! He is definitely a water baby!!

Memorial Day~ 2011

For Memorial Day we decided that we would take Preston to the ZOO for the first time!! It was so much fun, but definitely HOT!!! I think he really enjoyed it; we even packed our own lunch and snacks and were able to have our own little picnic in the shade! I think overall it was the PERFECT day! We will definitely be going back! (And now we have a membership for the year, so I know we will be spending lots of days there...I'm sure!)

Taylor & Derek's Graduation Party!

Preston decided to get into my laundry that hadn't been folded yet....right before we were leaving! I have to admit that he was pretty darn cute doing it though!

My twin cousins, Taylor & Derek, graduated from Mt. Juliet High School. So my Aunt Pam held a little gathering for family to celebrate with them at Hermitage Steak House! It was great and the food was SO YUMMY!

I neglected to mention in my last post....another new trick Preston has learned!

Preston can give a "high five!" Woo hoo!!! Go PRESTON! All you have to do is put your hand up in front of him and he will do it!! I am so proud of my lil' man....he is getting to be so big and so smart!

I thought I needed to add some pictures to this post....so I added the cell phone pictures that I was able to snap this morning when I dropped "SUPER PRESTON" off at school! One of my best friend's, Lindsay, made Preston this shirt before he was born, but he has never been able to wear it...it was too big; but now it fits Preston a lot better! And we love it!

Preston's new tricks!!

Preston can now drink from a STRAW!!

That's right! Preston usually likes to try and pull out my straw from my drink with his hands or teeth, but he has never ever tried to sip/suck from the straw. Well, on Tuesday night I had a drink with a straw and I thought I would let Preston pull the straw out so I held it in front of him, like I always do.....and then much to my surprise..................Preston sucked my drink right up through the straw!!! Only thing about this is that I was NOT expecting him to take a drink otherwise I would not have had COKE in my cup! Yikes! We are in trouble now! After he took a sip I took it away and then he made a grunting sound and scream that he wanted more! So, we may have a little boy who likes coke.....well I am NOT going to let that happen! No more coke for you buddy! Momma will be drinking water or juice now! :)

Preston has become a dare devil....he is ALL BOY!

For Preston's birthday Matt and I got him a little castle that we put in our bonus room that has a little slide on it and a climbing wall on the other side of it. Preston hasn't really played with it much really....besides throwing cars up and down the slide (that daddy taught him) And now all of a sudden he has decided that he can climb up the wall ALL BY HIMSELF! And he was doing this for a couple of days....and now he has decided that he can climb up the wall and get to the top and then go HEAD FIRST down the SLIDE!! Talk about a momma that is freaking out all the time now that he is going to break his neck! Yikes! We are in trouble now! I can only imagine what he will do when he starts to walk..........

Our work is cut out for us! But I wouldn't have it any other way!
