"Super Preston"

I neglected to mention in my last post....another new trick Preston has learned!

Preston can give a "high five!" Woo hoo!!! Go PRESTON! All you have to do is put your hand up in front of him and he will do it!! I am so proud of my lil' man....he is getting to be so big and so smart!

I thought I needed to add some pictures to this post....so I added the cell phone pictures that I was able to snap this morning when I dropped "SUPER PRESTON" off at school! One of my best friend's, Lindsay, made Preston this shirt before he was born, but he has never been able to wear it...it was too big; but now it fits Preston a lot better! And we love it!

Preston's new tricks!!

Preston can now drink from a STRAW!!

That's right! Preston usually likes to try and pull out my straw from my drink with his hands or teeth, but he has never ever tried to sip/suck from the straw. Well, on Tuesday night I had a drink with a straw and I thought I would let Preston pull the straw out so I held it in front of him, like I always do.....and then much to my surprise..................Preston sucked my drink right up through the straw!!! Only thing about this is that I was NOT expecting him to take a drink otherwise I would not have had COKE in my cup! Yikes! We are in trouble now! After he took a sip I took it away and then he made a grunting sound and scream that he wanted more! So, we may have a little boy who likes coke.....well I am NOT going to let that happen! No more coke for you buddy! Momma will be drinking water or juice now! :)

Preston has become a dare devil....he is ALL BOY!

For Preston's birthday Matt and I got him a little castle that we put in our bonus room that has a little slide on it and a climbing wall on the other side of it. Preston hasn't really played with it much really....besides throwing cars up and down the slide (that daddy taught him) And now all of a sudden he has decided that he can climb up the wall ALL BY HIMSELF! And he was doing this for a couple of days....and now he has decided that he can climb up the wall and get to the top and then go HEAD FIRST down the SLIDE!! Talk about a momma that is freaking out all the time now that he is going to break his neck! Yikes! We are in trouble now! I can only imagine what he will do when he starts to walk..........

Our work is cut out for us! But I wouldn't have it any other way!

Over the weekend we visited with Matt's dad's side of the family in Spring Hill, TN. Matt's Aunt Robin was in from Florida and this was the FIRST time she has ever met Preston! So this was a special evening! We had so much fun spending quality time with family! We grilled out with yummy hotdogs and hamburgers & Preston was also entertained by Matt's younger cousins, the twins-Kameron and Karissa. What a GREAT night! Oh and we also got to see Auntie Em and hear all about her engagement story!! What FUN......her wedding date has been set! MAY 19, 2012--Can't wait!

Also, more EXCITING news!!! Yesterday, May 16, 2011--Preston gave me kisses!!!!! Matt and I kissed eachother while Matt was holding Preston and then Preston opened his mouth and leaned forward and gave me kissees!!!! YAY!!! I was in HEAVEN! This was one HAPPY MOMMA! He melted my heart and then he did it several times after! (And only to me..... not daddy) But he only does it from example, so Matt would give me a pek and then Preston gave me one!
I can't wait to try to get it on video tonight! Momma loves you, Preston Reid!!!!!!!!!!!

Well.......Preston has been working SO HARD these last few days!!!


Friday, May 6th--Preston STOOD up for a few seconds without even noticing!!!(at school--so I didn't see it) YAY....sooner rather than later we may just have a little walker on our hands! (But I'm not rushing anything)

And he decided that he would stick his tounge out! And had it stuck out almost the whole ride home from school...SO funny and cute!! He is defintely his daddy's son....so full of personality!!


Saturday, May 7th-- We saw Preston STAND UP & then he CLAPPED!!!!!!!!
And now he has been clapping ever since! He clapped all weekend long when he did something! I am SO PROUD of my growing boy!!


WAY TO GO PRESTON!!!! We love you!

And someone learned how to climb in his chair and look out the window! :)

We decided to meet up with one of my friends at her parent's church in Hendersonville to go to an Easter egg hunt and to see the Easter bunny......I thought Preston would do fine since he did so well with Santa :)
